BEVERIDGE IS
GROWING.
IT'S TIME
WE WERE
CONNECTED.
One of Victoria's fastest-growing communities still has no train station. Let's change that.
WHY NOW?
The case is ready.
The land is ready.
The community is ready.
Infrastructure must keep pace with growth. Not follow it. We have the evidence, the space, and the people who want this station built.
Land is ready for development
Community demand is high
Strategic growth planning
Direct rail connection needed
Our community is growing
Thousands of new residents are moving into Beveridge. The infrastructure needs to keep up.
WHY WE NEED IT
The case for Beveridge Station
Four reasons the case is already clear.
No direct rail connection
Beveridge is one of the largest growth areas in Victoria without a train station of its own.
Boosts access. Builds futures.
A station means better access to jobs, education, healthcare and opportunity for the whole region.
Better for people. Better for our region.
More public transport means less congestion, lower emissions and a stronger Mitchell Shire.

What locals are saying
STORIES
Real voices from the Beveridge community. (Placeholder quotes. Final voices to be collected.)
"I spend over two hours a day commuting just to get to the nearest station. A station in Beveridge would give me my life back and let me see my kids before bedtime."
SARAH M. · Local Resident & Commuter
"Our town is beautiful, but it feels isolated. We need proper connectivity so our young people can get to university and jobs without needing a car for every single trip."
DAVID L. · Long-time Beveridge Resident
"Building the station isn't just about trains; it's about building a sustainable future. Less cars on the road means a cleaner, safer environment for our growing families."
JENNA R. · Local Business Owner
"We moved here for the growth, but we can't grow without the essentials. A train station is the missing piece of the puzzle for the Northern growth corridor."
MICHAEL T. · New Estate Resident

ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
Council-led. Community-facing.
This is a community-driven advocacy campaign initiated by Mitchell Shire Council. We're committed to ensuring our growing community has the infrastructure it needs to thrive, starting with the delivery of Beveridge Train Station.
While Council provides the platform and resources for this campaign, its success belongs to the people of Beveridge. Your voices, signatures and stories are what will move the needle at the State Government level.
The project is part of Council's broader Advocacy Plan to secure essential services and infrastructure for our region. Read Council's full advocacy plan.
OUR POSITION
Mitchell Shire Council remains strictly non-partisan in all its advocacy efforts. Our focus is solely on the needs of our residents, regardless of which party is in power.
We will work with all levels of government and all sides of politics to achieve the best outcomes for our community. Our goal is to secure a firm funding commitment for Beveridge Station.
Our message is simple: Play the issue, not the politics. Beveridge needs a station now, and we will continue to advocate until it is delivered.
